ODAC Trip 4 : Lata Berembun

Yea Hey !!! , another Outdoor Adventure Club trekking trip that I went during this December holidays. This time round to Lata Berembun !!!

It was a rather a more leisure trip than the Datuk trip but nevertheless it was another experience to trek a waterfall trek and to even sleep in tents next to it !!! Before the trip I was rather concerned bout the occurrence of the flooding in Malaysia nowadays, and Jasmine was even banned from going by her family.

Anyway the trip was super fun !!! First day was spent on travelling and there was quite a few change of bus to reach our destination. We took SBS 913 from Woodlands MRT to Sheng Shiong, then cross the custom to Larkin Bus Terminal, before taking a bus to Kuala Lumpur Puduraya. Then it was a LRT ride to Titiwangsa Station where we took a Union Bus ride to Raub, surprisingly passing through Bentong, my Mom's hometown, cool !

The exciting part came where we then took a Jeep ride up to Lata Berembun at Raub. It was so dangerous lor !!! The jeep is speeding like petrol is free and crossing obstacles like SOC !!! it was just steep cliff as the jeep made its turn my goodness !!! It even crossed the river and steam was emitted cos the engine was too hot.

We reached the waterfall around afternoon and pitched tents. After which we took our day pack and start the short trek up the waterfall. Lots of Leech attack as usual, but heng this time round the leeches were not so hiong and we manage to fling most of them back into the wild. One of the highlights of the waterfall trek is the slides that are available there. At first my KiaXi nature told me die die dun do such stupid thing, then everyone started doing so Lan Lan have to do also, eh....ego I guess.

But Neh Mind lar I survive the slide !!! Thou I got some impact from being sucked into the waterfall and water gets into my brain.

Haha after the trek it was outdoor dinner and there was much shit stirring by Qing Yong as after dinner chitchats.

Well the guys played bridge in our tents until 12am, since we need 7 HOURS of sleep. Weihan hero din zipped up the flyers for the tent, he wants to see who can tahan. Wah lao I woke up at 3am to realise my legs are becoming ice cream sticks. I have to wrap a clothe round my legs and stuff them in zip lock bags to keep them warm. Haha eventually Weihan have to zip the tents as he gave up to the cold.

The return trip was the reversal of the coming trip, so haha thats all folks !!!
