Grandma's Birthday

Woa this week has rather been a tight week, felt so strangled by all the reports, meetings and commitments coming all together at a go. Everyday sleeping at 1-3am is quite OFF my usual self, can feel my 火气 coming, better spam my body with Oranges and Green bean soup.

This post has been put off for a few days cos I was not free, so I would like to talk bt my visit back to my Mom's hometown in Bentong, Pahang last weekend to celebrate my Grandma's 81th birthday.

We took the bus from Golden Mile complex at 2100 hrs, and soon reached customs at 2200 hrs. I tell u man, the Mas Selamat is really a big event in Singapore hindering our usual lifestyle, in this case jamming the customs. The long queues of lorries makes me feel sad for all the waiting time (4 hrs u know !) Wah heng the bus only jam for 1 hr and we cleared customs at 2300 hrs.

It was 0620 hrs 8th March when we reached Bentong's Bus Terminal. Chun Ming puke like crazy again on the bus ride again, so we found a spot to have breakfast. Haha go Malaysia must always order Teh or Teh Ping !!! And the Toast + Eggs are just wonderful !!!

After that we took a 15 min walk back to my Grandparent's house. Haha it was back to the every same kampong type of house, with not much changes after 2 yrs. We took some rest, before Ah Gong drag us to play Mahjong with him. One Word : Sian ... cos in Malaysia the rules are totally different from wat I have played usually, the tiles only consist of 筒子 , and there's 飞 and Joker， play until I Sai man.

Well it was not long before all the Aunts and Uncles and Cousins all came. Then its mass gambling alr. Wah my Mom played Dai Dee with my Uncles, 1 buck per card. Haha then if 炒 ppl 13 cards means must multiply by 3, 39 bucks sia.

Well its just talking and gambling all the way until 7 pm came and we proceed to the restaurant to have the dinner. We booked a room with 2 big tables, Adults 1 table, and Kids (Yes, Me) another table. There were quite some drinking, but I din wanna drink that much, but my Noob Sister drank like dunno how many cups of Carlsberg lor, then she puke and hangover later (Noob Clubber !!!) As usual, there was KTV at the place, and 大姑 sang her hearts out. I bet my Mom wants to sing also lor, but not much chance, nvm my birthday we go sing at KBOX.

It lasted for quite a while, before it was cake cutting time. Haha quite nice lar Grandma and Grandpa distributed Ang Paos to all, so have Ringgit to go more Malaysia alr. Then we took individual family photo b4 the grand family photo.

After that, we went back to Grandma's house, and my Toopid Sister collapsed and *PUKE, hai next time better dun let her drink, all the clubbing no use one. The games started again, this time round i played with my younger cousin. There's one cousin who is very cute, named Pinky, and her Sister Yanni, who thrash me in Dai Dee lor, I cant believe it. I brought Uno cards, and we played Heart Attack plus Old Maid as well. Haha too bad cannot play Tooki Tooki Game with them.

Well Sunday came fast, and it was time for me to go back first, cos I have school. I used the remaining time to continue playing card games with my cousins, before gg for lunch. After lunch, Ah Hong cousin drove us all the way back to Singapore, in 5.0 hrs. Well this time round was quite a short trip back, hope to go back for a longer period next time round.

So ... I have to spend the next few days by myself before my parents comes back. Haha so its time for me to show off my cooking skills again. It has been quite a long time since i last cook, wonder if I lost touch. I still remember the days where I cook and cook during army days ... on Pawai ... Great Memories. I cooked Japanese Beef Curry, Steam Eggs (Special Formulas), and asked my maid to fry veggie haha.

Haha so thats all for the trip ~~~ before being stress in sch again.
